MTN Internet Setup – Auto-configuration 

The autoconfiguration is necessary only when you need Internet configuration settings on your MTN line without self-installation. To do this, simply send “settings” to the number “3888” via SMS.

In less than 2 minutes you will receive the MTN auto Internet setup message via SMS, click on save. If not too sure you can save it multiple times, it will overwrite.

For the old Android version: Go to settings > More >Mobile Networks > Access point Names > + ( to add).

For the new Android version: Goto settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Name > Add
